Meet Susannah
founder, sales guru and wealth generator
Susannah started her sales career while still in her senior year of college. Fueled by her love of action sports (or more specifically skateboarders and snowboarders) Susannah went to work straight out of college for Airwalk. She was the youngest on the sales team but was the top-earner every year.
After a career in the action sport industry, Susannah moved on to work for Casio relaunching the famous G-Shock watch. She worked as a National Accounts Manager opening all national chains and developed a multi-million dollar business.
Susannah’s next stop was the luxury industry where she was the Cartier West Coast Regional Sales Manager. Cartier took her to a new level in sales expertise and is where she became passionate about sales training and teaching others how to sell. In addition to managing a 15 million dollar territory, Susannah produced 10% - 15% increases in sales every year. She was a bit of a unicorn as she was one of the only females and the youngest salesperson by a decade yet the highest paid salesperson on the team.
During her career at Cartier, Susannah became passionate about training her account’s sales staffs. She was so in love with teaching others how to sell and had such infectious enthusiasm that they began flying her all over the nation to conduct trainings.
After decades of jet-setting as a saleswoman, Susannah decided to settle down (kind of) and have a family. Keeping Susannah from selling and training was a bit like holding a beachball underwater so she started her own sales consultancy business, Searson Sales.
For the last decade Susannah has consulted with companies as well as worked with hundreds of individual salespeople on honing their sales skills and maximizing their earning potential.
As Susannah spent her entire adult life in sales she became more and more aware of the negative connotation sales has and more displeased with the “old boys network” way of selling. Mystified by the fact that almost 90% of top earners in sales are men, she decided to found She Sells. She has made it her mission to empower women in sales to achieve excellence through authentic selling. In this day and age, people can smell antiquated sales strategies a mile away.
